That makes them very easy to handle and to ride even for for absolute beginners, and your guide will walk you through everything with a full safety briefing before you set off. Most guests have never ridden one before and are comfortable within the first few minutes.

Yes, children are welcome on the quad ride. The minimum age to ride independently is 15. Younger children can ride as a passenger with a parent on the same quad. If you're unsure whether the experience is right for your child's age, just reach out before booking and we'll help you figure out the best option.

Dinner is a traditional Moroccan meal — typically a fresh salad starter, a slow-cooked tajine as the main, and a dessert to finish, all served with Moroccan mint tea. Yes. Your driver will pick you up directly in front of your riad. If your riad is not accessible by car, he will contact you before arrival to coordinate the most convenient pickup point nearby — usually just a short walk from your door.

While we recommend the sunset timing — it's what the experience is built around and what most guests love most — we're happy to organize a morning or an earlier afternoon departure if that works better for you. Yes, the desert camp has clean and maintained restroom facilities available for guests.

Comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dusty — the quad ride will do that. Closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended. In summer, bring sunglasses and sunscreen for the ride. In winter, the desert gets cold after sunset, so bring a light jacket or layer. Other than that, just your phone for photos and an appetite for dinner.

The Agafay Desert enjoys excellent weather for most of the year, and cancellations due to weather are extremely rare. In the unlikely event of severe conditions that would affect your safety or experience, we'll contact you in advance to reschedule or offer a full refund. If you have concerns about a specific date, don't hesitate to reach out.

Yes, and here's why: the experience is designed for the evening, not the middle of the day. By the time your driver picks you up at 5:30 PM, the worst of the heat has already passed. The desert breeze during the quad ride is refreshing, and by dinner time the temperature is comfortable. Summer is actually one of the most popular seasons for this experience — and with clearer skies, the sunset is often at its most spectacular.

We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the trip's start time. If your plans change, simply reach out via WhatsApp and we'll reschedule you to another date at no extra cost.
