Itinerary

From the moment your driver picks you up to the last bite of your homemade tajine, every detail of this experience has been carefully crafted. This is three hours of slowing down, breathing in the aromas of a real Moroccan kitchen, and discovering Moroccan cuisine the way it was always meant to be shared — in a family setting, far from the tourist trail.

Your Delicious Morning at the Farm

  • The Drive Out of the City Just 30 to 40 minutes from wherever you're staying in Marrakech or its surrounding areas, the city fades and the countryside opens up around you. Your driver takes care of everything — sit back and enjoy the ride.
  • Welcome & Farm Tour Your host welcomes you with a warm smile and fresh mint tea. Before the cooking begins, you'll take a gentle walk through the farm — discovering the herbs, vegetables, and olive trees that make Moroccan food taste the way it does. You might also meet a few horses and other friendly animals along the way.
  • Time for Cooking Fun Roll up your sleeves and step into the heart of the experience. You'll immerse yourself in real Moroccan cuisine — an intimate space full of flavors, spices, and aromas. With your host's guidance, you'll learn to prepare a traditional Moroccan salad, build your tajine from scratch with fresh spices and organic ingredients, and brew an authentic pot of the world-famous Moroccan mint tea. Every step explained, every technique yours to take home.
  • Sit Down & Savor When your meal is ready, you'll sit down together — indoors or out on the farm, depending on the weather — eat what you made, and savor the rich flavors you've put together yourself. Fresh bread from a local bakery and homemade pastries round out the table, along with soft drinks. Wholesome, unhurried, and genuinely delicious.
  • Back to Your Marrakech Base Your driver takes you back home. You'll return relaxed, full, and with a recipe worth sharing. The city might feel the same — but you'll leave knowing a little more of what makes Morocco truly special.

All ingredients are fresh and sourced from local producers daily. The tajine recipe may vary slightly by season to make the most of what the farm and local harvest have to offer.

After this Moroccan cooking class experience, you'll leave the farm with a full belly, a happy heart, and a recipe you'll want to make again and again. Your host is there for you every step of the way, in an intimate setting where no question goes unanswered and no guest goes unnoticed. Come hungry. Leave inspired. Bon appétit!

"I had the absolute pleasure of attending this cooking class. A truly memorable experience from start to finish. The host, Khaoula, was incredibly gracious and welcoming. Her warmth and passion for Moroccan cuisine shone through every aspect of the event, making us feel right at home. The entire presentation was seamless. From the timely and comfortable pickup to the beautiful countryside farm setting, everything was thoughtfully curated. The class itself was both fun and educational, with clear instructions that made creating the dishes feel approachable, even for beginners. The food we prepared was absolutely delicious, and enjoying the meal we created was a real highlight. What made the experience even more special was the chance to tour the farm and even explore part of the house, which made us feel an extra dose of connection to the place. Our experience was a perfect blend of relaxation, learning, and culinary delight. A huge thank you to Khaoula for making it so wonderful."

"A wonderful culinary experience.

My partner and I had a truly wonderful time cooking with Khaoula at the idyllic farm beneath orange, lemon and olive trees. It was hands down one of our favourite experiences in Morocco. Khaoula was welcoming and informative, and we learned so much about making a tagine with fresh, local produce. We made both a chicken tagine and a vegetable tagine, as well as a delicious Moroccan salad. My goodness, the food was divine. This class is highly recommended. It felt like an oasis of calm in the middle of our bustling Marrakech holiday! Thank you, Khaoula, and to your lovely driver colleague, too. What a wonderful experience."

"An absolute 10/10 cooking class!!

The cooking class was set in the nicest scenery on a little farm just outside of Marrakech. Nothing around but greenery and animals - the most peaceful environment!

Our class with Khaoua was amazing! I went with my 2 friends and we learned how to cook the traditional dishes of Morocco with the freshest ingredients. Afterwards we enjoyed our self made Tangine and Salads outside and learned lots about the Moroccan and Muslime culture.

Absolute 10/10 experience!!"

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know before booking your Authentic Moroccan Cooking Class in a Farm

How long is the class exactly, and what time does it end?

The class runs for 3 hours. With hotel pickup at 9:45 AM and the drive to the farm, you'll be back at your hotel by around 1:30 PM — leaving you plenty of time for the rest of your day in Marrakech. During summer months, pickup is one hour earlier at 8:45 AM, so you'll be back by around 12:30 PM.

I'm not really too into cooking — will I still enjoy this?

Absolutely. Most of our guests aren't chefs — and that's exactly the point. This is less about cooking technique and more about the experience: the farm, the aromas, the stories behind the dishes, and sharing a meal you made with your own hands. Your host has a gift for making everyone feel comfortable and capable, regardless of their level. If you can stir and smile, you're more than qualified.

Is the class suitable for families with kids and elderly guests?

Yes, and it's actually one of the most family-friendly experiences we offer. The farm setting — with open space, animals, and olive trees — keeps younger guests entertained from the moment they arrive. The cooking itself is gentle and accessible, with no heat or technical difficulty that would exclude elderly guests or seniors. Everyone participates at their own pace.

I'm a solo traveler — can I join the class on my own?

Absolutely. Solo travelers are always welcome, and the intimate small-group setting makes it easy to connect with fellow guests. Many of our solo guests tell us it was one of the warmest, most social experiences of their trip. You'll never feel out of place at the farm.

Can I book a private class for my group?

Yes — if you'd prefer to have the experience entirely to yourselves, we offer private bookings for families, couples, and small groups. Just reach out to us directly via WhatsApp or our contact form, and we'll make it happen.

Can I book this for a large group or a corporate event?

Yes, we love hosting large groups and corporate events at the farm. Whether it's a team-building activity, a celebration, or a private company retreat, a cooking class in a Moroccan farmhouse makes for an unforgettable shared experience. Get in touch with us directly and we'll put together something special for your group.

We're staying in a riad deep inside the Medina — can you still reach us?

Yes. Your driver will pick you up directly in front of your riad. If your riad is not accessible by car, he will contact you before arrival to coordinate the most convenient pickup point nearby — usually just a short walk from your door.

What about dietary requirements — gluten-free, vegan, allergies?

We've got you covered. Our menu is flexible and we're happy to adapt the class to suit your needs — whether you're vegetarian, vegan, or have specific allergies. Just let us know at the time of booking and we will make sure everything is prepared with care. Most diets are warmly accommodated, and everyone is welcome at the farm.

Are there clean restroom facilities at the farm?

Yes — clean and well-maintained restroom facilities are available at the farm throughout your visit.

What should I wear and bring?

Comfortable, casual clothes and shoes. Everything else (ingredients, equipment, etc) is taken care of.

What happens if the weather is bad?

No worries at all. The cooking session can take place both indoors and outdoors, and we'll simply move everything inside if the weather calls for it. The farm is fully equipped to host the class in any conditions — your morning won't be affected.

Is this enjoyable in summer? I'm a little concerned about the heat.

A very fair concern — Marrakech summers are hot. That's exactly why we start earlier during summer months, with pickup at 8:45 AM instead of 9:45 AM. By the time the heat peaks in the afternoon, you'll already be back at your hotel, cool and full. The farm also benefits from open shade, a natural breeze, and the option to cook and dine indoors — making it a genuinely comfortable experience even in summer months.

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy?

We offer a full refund for cancellations made at least 24 hours before the tour's start time. You can also reschedule freely at no extra cost — just let us know in advance.

For cancellations made within 24 hours of the start time, we are unable to offer a refund. However, we'll do our best to find a suitable alternative date for you.
